Gabriel Armando currently resides in Flemington NJ, and is an FEI “C” judge for his native Argentina. A former Manhattan banker, Gabriel is now a professional rider and trainer. Gabriel has judged in many countries around the world including Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Colombia, Germany, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Korea, New Zealand, Mexico, Taipei, Uruguay, USA and Venezuela. In 2006 he judged the Central American Games been held in Guatemala and the Central American and Caribbean Games in Bogota, Colombia as well as the NAYRJC . In the year 2007, Gabriel was nominated judge for the FEI World Dressage Challenge in the Group 9, Asia. Gabriel has been and active competitor in the international arena. He has represented several times his native country Argentina.  He won the silver Medal in the Southamerican Championship in Sao Paulo, Brazil, 1998. He was team member of the Argentinean team in the PanAmericam Games in Dominican Republic 2003.and in the recent PanAmerican Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. At the age of 20, in 1982, he was national champion in Argentina and he did it again in 1983 being the youngest National Champion in Argentina’s history. He moved to United States in 1997 were he resides and he is married to dressage rider- trainer Suzanne Ross-Armando. They are based at Diamond Creek Farm in Ringoes, NJ where they supervise the training of 25 horses.

Cindy Canace is a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist and a USEF “R” judge, currently enrolled in the “S” program. It was while living in Switzerland that she first discovered dressage I 977. Upon returning to the US, she has been active in ESDCTA, USDF, USEF and the USET. She has helped organize many judges forums, held two highly popular Dressage Adult Camps and served as the Adult Education Coordinator for USDF Region 1. A popular judge, clinician and instrucotr, her main objective is to emphasize both proper riding equitation and correction schooling of the horse. She currently competes her four horses at Training Level through Grand Prix. Cindy owns and operates Puddingstone Farm in Blairstown, NJ, a training facility, and lives there with her husband Bob and their four collies.

Maria Colliander became an FEI Candidate judge in 2002 and achieved International status in 2006. She also was approved as an FEI Young Horses judge in 2006. Maria has judged at CDI's in the Nordic countries, Russia, Estonia, Canada, France, and the Young Horse Championships in Verden, Germany in 2007. She will be member of ground jury at the European Championships for Juniors & Young riders in 2008. Judging the CDI Raleigh is her first time in USA. She competed nationally up to Intermediate I, won Finnish Team Championship in dressage four times, trained riders at the national level up to Intermediaire I and is a translator by profession.

Liselotte Fore owns and operates a Dressage training facility in Santa Rosa, California and is a Dressage teacher, trainer and clinician through Grand Prix. Lilo has won numerous national and international horse of the year awards for California, USDF and the USET. She was USET long listed and short listed with several horses and has trained many students to similar success. She coached the Mexican team to a Silver Medal win at the Central American Games in Venezuela. Lilo is one of the founders of the Instructor/ Trainer Certification program in the US, and was chair of the USDF Instructor Council and Certification program for over a decade. She remains a USDF certification examiner. She has been a breeder of sport horses since 1980 and many horses she has bred have won championships in the US and Canada. Lilo has been a Dressage judge since 1974. She has judged at many international CDIs and selection trials for World Championships, Pan Am Games and Olympics.

Anne Gribbons is a native of Sweden who has been active in Dressage in the U.S. since 1972. She has trained and shown thirteen of her own horses to Grand Prix, nine of which were USET long listed. Several of Anne’s students have also shown successfully at the FEI levels. Anne competed for the USET at the North American Championships in 1985, the World Championships in 1986, and rode Metallic on the Pan Am Silver Medal Team in 1995. Anne has served as the North American representative to the FEI World Cup Committee, and served 10 years on the USEF Board of Directors. She is also a member of the USEF High Performance and Technical Dressage Committees and past chair of the USEF Athletes Advisory Council. Anne has judged many prestigious international events in North America and Europe and is also a USEF-licensed Sport Horse Breeding judge. Since 1997, she has written the monthly dressage column for the Chronicle of the Horse.

Veronica Holt chairs the USDF Regional Championships Committee, is an FEI Chief Steward for dressage, a USEF Technical Delegate and has managed and officiated at many national and international competitions.  No stranger to competition, Veronica is a former member of the British water and snow ski teams, and competed in point-to-points (wild, swarm-cross-country) and dressage in Scotland, where she grew up.  An avid bird watcher and fly fisher, her recent claim to fame was identifying - in one day - all four of the Zonotrichia (sparrows) in Southern Colorado.  When not rushing off to dressage competitions, her consulting work supports clients in the public and private sectors with marketing and communications strategies and tools.  She lives with her elderly Great Danes and baby chickens on the high plains in Colorado.

Jodi Lees is a USEF-licensed “r” dressage judge currently living in Campobello, SC. She is an active dressage competitor as well as an instructor and judge. Jodi has earned both the USDF Bronze and Silver Medals and has applied for the USEF “R” judge program. She and her husband own a 30 acre facility, River’s Edge Farms, where she trains and instructs. Jodi has a number of regular clinics that she teaches in both NC and SC and has enjoyed a committed career with horses for over twenty years.

Lorraine MacDonald was always impassioned with horses from an early age living in remote Thunder Bay.  She had a very active career showing many horses through the FEI levels over the years.  Dressage still is a big part of her life.  Lorraine continues to ride and train on Frits(a Dutch GP schoolmaster of sorts). Her Jack Russell “Luke” is her best buddy and loves to go to the barn with her.  She and Angus enjoy a small farm in Terra Cotta where Loui, Luma and Lazare spend their retirement days in leisure. Lorraine is a former Private banker with TD in downtown Toronto and former Chair of the Officials Committee. She continues to be part of that program which focuses on Judges Education.  Judging highlights include European Young Riders in Rome, Italy and many CDI’s, championships and trials across North America, South America and South Africa. In 2006 & 2007 she participated in the prestigious FEI Challenge Tour in South America and South Africa through five different countries.  This year the Tour will encompass Thailand, India, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia. Lorraine is a positive judge who appreciates the difficulties of training and showing.   She has developed a top down approach to judging and is always looking for the illusive “10”.

Barnabas Mandi has been a national judge since 1976 and an FEI “O” judge since 1995. He has judged twelve European Dressage Championships of different categories including ponies, juniors and young riders. He has also judged at more than forty CDI World Cup Qualifier competitions and many CDIs in over thirty different countries worldwide. Dr. Mandi was a member of the FEI Pony Committee responsible for dressage. Dr. Mandi has a PhD and MD and is currently Assistant Professor of Immunology at the University Medical School in Debrecen, Hungary where he has authored scores of scientific papers. He is married and has one son and two granddaughters. He has judged many times in the U.S.

Marlene Schneider lives in Long Lake, MN and is a USEF “S” Dressage judge. She has competed at the FEI levels and is a Dressage instructor and clinician.

Elisabeth Williams left her native Sweden in 1969 to work at the Swedish Embassy in Washington, DC.  In 1979, she began a10-year tenure at the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, after which she moved to Pennsylvania.  Elisabeth has had extensive involvement with the US Pony Clubs, as Manager of the USPC National Championships, Chair of their Dressage Committee and as Co-DC of the Potomac Pony Club.  In addition to involvement with her local dressage club, Elisabeth managed Dressage competitions and competed at the lower levels. She has been a USEF Dressage Technical Delegate since 1981 and an FEI Chief Steward for Dressage since 1994.  She is currently the FEI Steward General for Dressage in the US.  She has served as a panelist for the USEF Dressage Technical Delegates’ Forum many times.  Elisabeth is a past Director of USA Equestrian and serves on several USEF and USDF committees. Her hobbies include gardening, cross word puzzles and Sudokus, knitting and motoring in her ’76 Aston Martin V8.

Linda Zang of Davidsonville, MD is a USEF“S” and FEI “O” judge. She is a member of the USEF Dressage Committee and a former member of the FEI Dressage Committee. With “Fellow Traveler”, she represented the U.S. at the 1978 World Championships, the 1979 Pan Am Games and the 19800 Alternate Olympics   at Goodwood, England. In the early 1980’s she presented a memorable Dressage and Dance Pas de Deux with a young dancer at the Washington International Horse Show.  She has taught and trained all levels of Dressage at her Idlewilde Farm in Maryland. And she has judged many prestigious competitions including the World Cup Finals, World Equestrian Games and at the Olympic Games.
